DragonScape Privacy Policy

Updated April 10, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains what information DragonScape collects, why it is collected, and what choices players have. It applies to the homepage, battle shell, guest-save flow, payments, and support contacts.

Information Collected

DragonScape collects account details such as email address, username, password hash, session data, and the timestamp recorded when a player accepts the legal terms and confirms they are at least 13.

The service also collects gameplay and diagnostic information including IP addresses, browser/session activity, chat messages, moderation actions, guest-save status, payment metadata from Stripe, and operational logs used for abuse prevention, debugging, and service health.

How Information Is Used

Information is used to authenticate players, restore progress, deliver password resets, process payments, prevent abuse, enforce rules, support players, and measure whether the service is operating safely.

Operational and security logs may be used to investigate fraud, duplicate webhooks, suspicious login activity, payment disputes, moderation incidents, and production outages.

Sharing and Service Providers

DragonScape shares data only with service providers needed to run the game, such as hosting, database, error-reporting, email, and payment vendors. Those providers receive only the data needed to perform their role.

DragonScape may also disclose information when required by law, to enforce the Terms of Service, or to protect players, the operator, or the service from fraud, abuse, or security threats.

Retention and Security

Account and progression data are kept as long as needed to operate the game, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and recover from incidents. Security and payment logs may be retained longer when needed for fraud review or incident response.

DragonScape uses session cookies, rate limits, CSRF protection, password hashing, and structured error reporting to reduce risk, but no internet service can guarantee absolute security.

Player Rights and Export Requests

Players may request a copy of the personal data associated with their account by using the export-request form below. DragonScape will review requests and respond through the operator contact mailbox.

Players may also request account help or privacy clarification through the same contact channel. Identity checks may be required before account data is shared.

Children

DragonScape is not directed to children under 13. If the operator learns that personal information from a child under 13 was collected without valid consent where required, the operator will take reasonable steps to delete it.

Request a Data Export

Use this form to request a copy of the personal data tied to your DragonScape account. Requests are sent to the operator mailbox at support@dragonscape.ca.
